Andres is the Colombian founder and owner of DIRTy Squirrels Racing Team and has a long track record in the cycling world in the discipline of Cross Country and as a bicycle race mechanic now in a new facet as a cycling Coach

Andres has 24 years of experience as a cyclist. A competitive racer on the dirt, road and cyclocross since the age of 14, Gutierrez amassed victories in various countries throughout his racing career. He is also a member of the PBMA Professional Bicycle Association.
​
His current mechanic certifications include: Barnett Bicycle Institute, USA Cycling Race Mechanic, Sram Technical University, Shimano T.E.C, Cannondale School, Campy School, PBMA Mechanic Certification and the list goes on.
​
In 2017 Andres was part of the mechanical team for the USA Cycling Track Team in the Tissot UCI Track Cycling World Cup.
​
In 2019 he was the personal mechanic for Vlad Dascalu, U23 World XC Champion in the 2019 UCI Mountain Bike World Championship in Mont-Saint-Anne, Canada and the team mechanic for Brujula Bike Racing Team.
He also works for Neutral Race Support (NRS).

Andres is the 2018 and 2019 Illinois State MTB Champion.
​
When he is not racing or working at racing events, he is working on either his own or his wife's bikes, making sure they are ready for the next race.
